Today I have been listening to arrangements of Christmas music, trying to figure out what music to order for the swing band to learn really quickly for a Christmas gig.  I hope no one comes over to my desk and hears Christmas music......

Yeah, but DumpTrump2ExitFromBrexit is just too dang long. I'm thinking of something to reflect my even kinder & gentler nature, that will hopefully outlast those two evils.

I like your politics, but a new thread full of Christmas and cat pictures?  Are you here to torture me as well?

What's your feelings on Pineapple on pizza?

I only showed up to talk about Bonfire Night - I'll start a new thread.

I'm good with that, although it wouldn't be my first choice.

Your not in mensa are you?

Just joking, welcome back!

Have you ever been to the Lewis fireworks night?  It's absolutely mental, with a torchlight parade with people dressed in nutty outfits and rolling burning tar barrels down the road.

Do you mean Lewes (in Suffolk)? or the Isle of Lewis?  ???

Only ever done Bonfire Night here in Yorkshire, but I have been to Allendale, Northumberland for New Year's where they carry flaming tar barrels on top of their heads and parade around at midnight. Northerners are well hard that way.

I for giggles, just decided to take the quick online test at the MESA* site to see if I'd get a high IQ. Apparently so... Now I'm intrigued......  But, I'm sure I don't qualify in the top 2%, so.......

*Except I can't spell MENSA. We use a chemical called 2-Mercaptoethanesulfonic Acid at work, which we call out as MESA.  So that's all I can type.

Since you did it, PB, the MESA-MENSA-SAME thingie...I went & looked and gone and done it. It gave me 18/18 & said I'm a freaking genius and I should go all in. But I thought it was kind of too easy really...that's how they get you! When I was younger, I might have cared about something like that, but now I think it falls under my "meh, who cares" column.

Yeah, hook line and sinker! Give you an easy quiz so you think, I'll go and take some expensive test and figure out I'm decidedly average.  :P
