durhamlad, that sounds perfect! I meant to come back sooner & say how nice it must be to live where you feel such a strong sense of place and home.
Durham is a really lovely place. I have friends who live in Bowburn and Spennymoor. We spent part of a NYE few years back, drinking in Durham pubs before moving the party on to The Toon for the fireworks over the Tyne.
