Just started looking.. wishing the budget was more now!  ;D

Honestly that's the hardest part for me! hah (but it's a fair budget especially as I imagine the shipping will put it over that too)

What are everyones thoughts regarding shipping of online purchases?

It seems redundant to pay twice for shipping, once to the Secret Santa and then again when sending to the recipient.  So if the gift is purchased online,  can we just arrange for it to be posted directly to the person we have been assigned?  :)

I have in the past.  I had it gift wrapped by the company I was shipping it from to make it more fun to open   :)

Personally, I don't see why not.

Unless anyone has a strong objection to online purchases being sent directly to the recipient...?

In fairness, I was thinking of potentially doing this depending on what I bought in the end... :) Was just going to tell the seller it was s gift so don't include receipt!

Yep, marking an online purchase as a gift and send to recipient seems quite reasonable to me!

It just arrived! I hadn’t checked this thread in a while, so I was very surprised! Thank you, elves, you are super efficient this year!
