I wonder if they realised people were sending docs that hadn't been in the original applications and are now waiting for VFS to rescan things? awful because it just slows down things further from their initial mistakes.

Good Point.. but yes, it certainly slows the process down. It's nice to just know more of what's going on other than just the generic "technical issues".

I woke up to an email saying “due to a scanning error I am unable to view all the bank statements”.
They are asking just for bank statements from June, August, September and November..
Yay maybe I’ll get a decision made email soon

After sending that information requested I just got an email just saying my application has not been straightforward and they will be unable to decide your application withing our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.
I assume that was just an automated generic email sent to cover why they haven't made a decision in now 56 BD.

Yes, that's nothing to worry about. They are just buying themselves time with that email.

Oh yes, I've been here about 3 weeks. My husband and I are going all over Devon antiquing. I'm still just an observer with the driving, and learning to rely on signs and roundabout exits. Sorry to see about your scanning disaster, but your trip will be here before you know it.
