In doing the VFS it asks me to register and i did , now logging in it asks  Reason For Visit and a drop down with lots of options ???
I assume Settlement is the one i choose

Settlement would be correct.  I don't know what the other options are, but typically when talking about a spouse/fiance(e)/civil partner/proposed civil partner/unmarried partner from outside the UK, these are settlement visa types.

On the biometrics page their is a link that take you straight to the vfs page.thats what I used.
Also remember to select your shipping labels and you will not be able to use the gfw# again

Yes.
as with others i have seen, i added the priority and i thought the 140.00 for up to 5 pounds, but after continuing on it only shows the Priority in the cart and the option to choose the 70.00 round trip.. i may be able to scale a few pages out and make it under 2 pounds. should i do that

I mentioned this on another thread just now, but it appears as though the link given on the biometrics page is to the old VFS website (that should have been deleted), not the new one... so it seems not to give all the shipping options.

I had to purchase the 70.00 (up to 2 pounds) if we are only sending in copies, it seems to be right under 2 pounds.
Let me ask one thing, on one of his travel documents he sent me, it was two sided, so i printed it out 1 sided, the back side of each page is just customer information, do I need those pages? , or is it possible to leave them out.

On the printed out application at the top right corner is the little box to attach the passport photo to...
Do I go ahead and staple my photo to it now?

It's so exciting to have that appointment booked and everything coming together so you guys can carry on with your lives again  ;)  Good luck--here's hoping for a smooth process and quick wait for you!
