Yep, leave them all blank.

You only fill out the information for category that you meet the requirements under.

You tick the box for your Category and then go to the relevant section of part 3 and fill it out.

If you fill out all the sections of part 3, they will think you are applying under all 7 categories at the same time :P.

Cool, that's what I figured but it seems such a waste to send a bunch of blank pages!

Do you have a suggested type of envelope to send the documents in?

I believe something like a padded envelope is okay... though I'm not completely sure what other people have used.

Assuming the instructions for the shipping labels haven't changed, if you purchase the round-trip shipping, you have to take the package to a UPS store and get a UPS envelope from them to ship it in anyway. I don't know whether other people have packaged everything up in their own envelope and then put that inside the UPS one, or if they have only used the UPS one.

Luckily my work is literally right next door to a UPS store. In fact, we share a wall with them!

Just filled out and submitted our application. Quick question:

I don't see any place where it redirects you to the VFS website to pay for priority processing. Is this something we do after biometrics? Or do we access the site directly and enter our application number?

Thank you!

Apparently there is a link from the biometrics page, kelks just posted about it in MrsPoetryman's thread. But you can go in via the site too.

It appears that the link given on the biometrics sheet is to the old VFS website, not the new one... which I didn't even know was still online, but apparently it works.

I only saw the option for the 70.00 shipping (up to 2 pounds), I plan on only sending copies , and right now I am sitting at  1 14oz .

I used the link from the Biometrics confirmation and was able to get in. However, Capital One flagged the VFS charge as fraud and the transaction was denied. Now the VFS site won't allow me to try again without continuously giving me an error message that my session is expired. I don't even know who I could call to look into it?!

This happened to me too, the site actually wont allow you to pay again until 30 mins time. Also you will need to copy and paste the link again, look on the right hand side you see the option to track status. That is what you will need to get in again.

Looks good.

Not sure about the copy of the sponsor's passport page. If you can print it in colour, I probably would, but I don't know if it matters.

You should have received an email with the IHS number on it - you can just print that.

Alternatively, just write the IHS reference number on the front of your printed application. It's the number itself that matters, not the receipt.
