I understand you, I included the original job contract, but not sure if he had an updated one anyway... On one of his flight information pages, it was originally two sided, so I scanned and printed to US paper, not sure if I need 3 extra sheets of the back sides that all say the same thing  ???  But then again, his divorce decrees are 1 page, one of mine is 37 pages  ::) alot of extra stuff to say I am divorced
If it starts to look like the package is going to be overweight I may have to get cutthroat with some of these docs.

Right  now I sit at 1 lb 9 oz .. Tonight I will ,once again, go through my list and double check myself, and I will probably do that again tomorrow. On your cards sent, did you include a copy of the envelope? I didn't but wonder, how they know I really sent it? I am not much of a card sender, so there is just one to send  ::)

No, just scanning the front and back of the cards. Most of them were given in person anyways.

The label is already printed and paid for ups will not reject your package because of weight.

I didnt use vfs for shipping to NYC because I had a family package over 5lbs and they dint have an option for family. I purchased individual return labels though.

I read somewhere awhile back that we should write "priority" on the outside of the envelope. Is this still the case?

Yeah, I just posted that :).

I assume those instructions are still relevant, but since the new VFS website is pretty useless, I don't know if you still need to do it for applications going to New York rather than directly to Sheffield.

If in doubt, I'd write it on :).

I work right next door to a UPS store and am kinda buddies with the manager, so I just ran in there and had him look at the shipping labels (mostly cause they had my address on there twice) and asked him about the weight and he said with that type of label it doesn't matter.

Ohh nice to know, fantastic.. what type of envelope are you using? I'm toting my papers around in a UPS Padded envelope like an FBI agent  ;), so not sure it they would fit fine in a letter or be too many pages for that?

Probably a padded one, but whatever ends up fitting. Just told the guy I'd be back Friday after my biometrics appt and he's going to hook me up with the envelope.

Oh good deal, we have all sorts of UPS envelopes here at work, so I have another padded one to take to my Biometrics Friday as well, and while I'm in Lubbock, I will find a UPS store and send it. It may be too late once I get back to town and don't want to risk them being closed  :)

Hi. I’m on my phone and not sure how again to reply in my own thread to ask a new question.    Hey, on the printed application, mine printed out two sided .. will that be ok or should I take it and have it printed to one sided. Thank you

I don't know if there is an official rule on it, but I made sure to print everything one sided due to my past experience working in the scanning dept at the IRS and knowing how the back would sometimes be overlooked. Didn't want to take the chance!
