Work permit (which I guess now would be called a Tier 2 Visa for Skilled Migrant Workers -- and might have been called that then, I don't remember) 2002. ILR 2004. UK citizenship 2007.

Was a lot more surprised than I probably should have been last night reading the news. He was 95 and had a very full life...but very sad news all the same. I thought he was going to live forever! Like the Queen!

* Moved to the UK on said visa October 2013
* FLR(M) applied for  May 2016. Biometrics requested June 2016. Approval given July 2016.
* ILR applied for January 2019 (using priority processing). Approved February 2019.

I had the pleasure of meeting him some years back. Quite a guy! A simple autograph turned into a twenty minute conversation.

So is anyone here a Stan Lee/ Marvel nut? Maybe just bored and want to do some detective work? I have an autographed comic magazine that Stan was involved in.....should I frame it.....sell it.....???

If you're going to sell it, now is the time when it will be a hot commodity to have so I'm sure there will be a good market just now....Personally, I'd want to keep it. :)
