Geritol IV and all, huh?   ;D ;D

I get so amused listening to the Daughter. Seriously, to her anyone over 35 is an antique.  I do have to point out to her that the same benchmark age will pass her by eventually, and she just does "the eye roll". (You folks with teenage girls know that one. She's never really outgrown it.)
So I take it she wasn't born in 1978 then?

about a year ago, a colleague heard me say that I loved guacamole. i wasn't even talking to her. she shouted "that's disgusting". I've also been accused of being "posh" because I like it. it's just so stupid. you can try to explain that most mexicans are actually poor, but it's like talking to a wall. so i dont bother anymore.

of course guacamole is becoming more and more popular here now as it's now sold virtually everywhere

when i first came to the UK, two decades ago, they had very little in the way of american food. they now have loads. but it still takes the locals ages to catch up. believe the word is "backwater" lol
