Hahaha, I get the 'phatbeetle is in, let's have a party for her and J' too.   I don't mind. J was overwhelmed at first, but now he goes with the flow. 
As the second oldest of four siblings, I was usually not even remotely a focus of attention growing up.  So it's fun to get that as an adult. HAHAH 

A bit off topic, but I'm #2 of four, too!

There was a huge gap after me, though (while my parents saw what they made and thought long and hard about trying again), so it was more like being the younger sister, then suddenly working in a 24-hour daycare at age nine.

As the baby of the family (2 older sisters) who's siblings were 10+ years older than me, we apologise.

To be fair, I was, and continue to be closer with my 9-years-younger sister and 11-years-younger brother than I ever was to my 2-years-older sister.  She and I just could not find any common ground.

That's hilarious because me and my oldest sister are SUPER close...closer than her and my other sister are even though they are a year or 2 apart lol

My older sister and I ended up in the same study hall one semester in high school.  It was very nearly the end of the school year before the teacher supervising the study hall saw us talking (coordinating my sister driving me home from school at the end of the day) and made the connection in our shared last name and said, "Are you two sisters?"  We nodded, and she blurted out, "You two are as different as night and day!"  I took that as a compliment.

My sister and I had a lot of common ground and were only 22 months apart (I'm the youngest) but she decided that meant we needed to be competitive instead of supportive. I barely have a relationship with her now, she was completely judgemental about my life for so long, but I do wish we were closer. My niece and nephew are great, their dad is much more emotionally balanced than my sister.

Never too late to try to repair and rebuild bridges! I hope you guys can get closer even though you're further apart physically now
