It will depend a lot on the country/citizenship of the people applying.

Is there an option for a comments field for 'Other'?  I initially came on a Tier 4 and then changed to a spousal visa.  I believe there are a few others on the forum who have done the same.

No, I don't think this is a feature! :-[  Although it's a good idea!
I initially didn't include study visas because I don't think Tier 4 leads to residency/immigration? I'm definitely not an expert though.

I assume most people on this forum in this specific sampling of people are partial to the marriage/partner track. But that's not to deny the group their diversity! :)
