Direct deposit of wages
« on: January 04, 2019, 08:17:23 PM »
Hi y'all, not sure what board this should go under so I will stick it here.
I get paid once a month on the 1st, and should my visa come in and I am able to leave by the end of January, what did y'all do regarding the last months wages. I have direct deposit.. should I stop it or can direct deposits be sent to a UK bank account... Really hadn't thought about this till now. Thank you  :)

Leave it as is, then use Transferwise to move the money to the UK. It's a good idea to leave your US accounts open.

Ok, good idea, thank you ... Transferwise has been wonderful the couple times I've used it.
