Kate: Yup! Train ticket already purchased. I had read that its best (and cheaper) to buy early so I did. Plus... I'm a planning nerd and like to have everything buttoned up well in advance.

Hell, I booked our rental car for our July trip back in November and out of curiosity I checked again to see if prices were different and they went up. So I'm glad I reserved when I did. Plus, I didnt have to pay yet so no harm in reserving.
KissOfDeath: Totally! I had already planned on visiting some of the people I already know there in July but now that I'm going later this month, all the better. And my boss (who is coming this trip) already knows about us moving and is supportive. She brings it up to people in the UK office whenever they are in town as well. Its SO REFRESHING to have a supportive boss. The office is not nearly as big as the one here in Seattle which is nice but I don't work with all of the teams over there regularly so it'll be good to actually meet some of them. And a lot of people move from team to team a lot so even if there is no one I know today, in 3 months from now there may be.
It's hard to NOT want to be there right now but I feel everything is happening at the right speed. And it'll all happen when the time is right. I'd rather suffer a little anticipation rather than rush it and regret something. As long as there is continued forward momentum toward the move, I'm happen.
