Grape-flavored stuff!!!
« on: January 10, 2019, 04:09:53 PM »
I had to share my excitement somewhere because I just found some Welch’s Grape juice at my local Booths! I wasn’t specifically looking for it... just was browsing the juice refrigerator then BAM!!! It smacked me in the face! Can’t wait to let my hubby and stepdaughter try some!

It really is the simple things, isn’t it?!

Wow.  That's quite a find.  Is it proper grape juice?  Like the same stuff we would have got in the US?  I used to live on that stuff (when I was a child, before I had Too Much In One Go... bad times...).

Yes, it's the real deal. Purple, no weird fake sweeteners, and just pure grape juice!

I've seen this in supermarkets for several years.  It's not really a 'find' in my area....been around for ages, but maybe it's a regional thing? There's a Welch's white grape juice as well.  Pretty sure it was Sainsburys where I last saw it.

I'd never seen it before today... But then again, I never specifically looked for it. That's the only grape-flavored thing I've seen in these parts so far though.

After my Too Much In One Go incident with the purple grape, I drank white grape for a while.  Then I switched to apple juice (which was something my mother didn't buy when I was a small child, so for me it was a revelation), which was much cheaper.

It's probably the only grape-flavoured thing you'll ever see here!  Purple grape, anyway.  Sainsbo's used to have a white grape and peach squash that was really nice.

I know it’s not natural but makes me think of peanut butter and grape jelly who didn’t grow up with that stuff :)

OMG, Grape Juice! I haven't seen that since Nixon was in office!

If memory serves, my mom was...frugal... and would put it in popsicle trays and make popsicles for us in the summer. We also got orange juice popsicles.

My mom would put Kool-Aid in ice cube trays with toothpicks sticking out for homemade popsicles!! Ha ha!! But they were yummy!

I know, right?! The day I see grape jelly here I'll be giddy! LOL!

Same here where I am :) They've been in my local Sainsbury's (LOVE the white grape juice!) There's both Sainsbury's  brand grape juice in my shop and Welch's. Oddly juice is one of the only actual grape flavoured items I can easily find over here haha

They still have the white grape and peach squash in my local Sainsbury's (the last time I looked at least)

My, how time flies....
