Ok, so the Daughter (and I, really) would like to go see the viking ships and museums up in Oslo. We are not comfortable with traveling after Brexit hits, as we're concerned we'd have problems getting back home again (into the UK) as the Daughter's "direct family member of an EU citizen" card will be worthless if it's a hard Brexit, and may catch her some static even in a soft one. Once we had our pre-settlement cards I'd feel a little better. But until then, we are thinking of trying to make a hop up there in early March to see the museums, while the UK is still EU.
Has anyone ever been there? Can you recommend a hotel/airline/etc, etc? I don't know much about Norway other than it's supposed to be expensive. We'd be traveling light, and are fine with having meals bought out of a grocery store. Trip maybe 4 days? One to travel up, one or two to explore, one to travel home.
