I wish there was more clarity.

I am really surprised how difficult we are finding the FLR(M) online form. My wife and I assumed it would be much like a repeat of the last visa, but there are so many "surprises" with strange and vague questions, it seems tougher now the paper form has gone, and it is taking far longer than expected- maybe it's just me. I wanted to say thanks to this forum, so far you have been really helpful with it all If it were any other application, I'd just make an educated guess and say "that'll do" but this is something very important to us. I wish every question was clearly written, with far more clear instructions and examples. On the plus side, we are loving being together here, and it will be worth it in the end.

Yes, the online form is bad. That's one of the reasons that we always recommended against using it in the past.
Now unfortunately there is no alternative. But just keep doing what you're doing, post the questions you're unsure on and we'll all figure it out together!

Thank you, this forum has been so helpful, and I am sure we will get there in the end I think when this is all done a holiday is in order 

From what I've heard about the online form, it seems like a nightmare . There are apparently a ton of confusing and overly-detailed questions that weren't even on the paper form.

Yes, I feel that what would be helpful is an expanded explanation of the question, and a generic example of an answer when it comes to these new questions. It is unclear what level of detail they want, as well. It almost feels like they are trying to trip you up.

Remember, you can explain or elaborate on any of your answers in either the 'any other information' section or in a separate letter. That way you are covering yourself because of the badly worded questions.

I think you must have misread the question, they only want to know how many pieces you have eaten within the last 28 days!
