Flr(m) questions
« on: January 26, 2019, 04:27:25 PM »
Hi all! So my wife and I have been going through the mail we have saved and have found that our mail doesn’t coordinate at every 4 months but works well at every 3.....is that acceptable? We have it figured at:

Sept 2017 : joint bank statement
Dec 2017 : joint electric bill/statement
March 2018 : joint council tax bill
June 2018 : NHS letter for me and CC Statement for her
Sept 2018 : joint bank statement
Dec 2018 : joint electric bill/statement
March 2019 : joint new council tax bill
June 2019 : joint bank statement

We plan on applying in September, so will we need mail for September 2019?

The only thing with using documents every 3 months is that you are only supposed to send 6 documents in each name in total, and doing it every 3 months means you are sending 8 documents in each name (or 9 if you include Sept 2019), which is more than you should be sending.

However, if you have no other way of doing it, then I think it will be fine.

Not necessarily - you can include something from September 2019 if you want, but you will already be providing proof of address from the last few months before you apply by way of your payslips/bank statements/accommodation evidence anyway, so it's not needed.

As always, thank you ksand! As the time gets closer, I’m sure we will have questions especially with the new online application. It’s beyond comforting to know that there is always help and support here.
