That is exactly like real life!
On the news the other day they were reporting a big change that would have a huge impact on the supply chain for food. Just when they needed to interview someone with actual knowledge to help us interpret this news, they went outside and interviewed the first three morons who happened to pass by. Predictably, all three knew even less than the viewers because at least the viewers had just seen a news story about it.
And yes, one was a coffin dodger saying that rationing would do us good. Not old enough to have actually experienced rationing, but old enough to vote for Brexit.
