Mexican food is big over here now, any ASDA or big store will have Old El Paso kits, seasoning, tortilla, even ALDI has own brand stuff for very little,(PS, the hot salsa from Aldi is really nice, just the right amount of heat)
B&M has microwave popcorn, but you do have to add butter if you want American style.
I haven't seen pumkin spice but then again, I have not looked for any.
Now if I could just find some grape jelly in a store......

Had a friend throw a bottle of pumpkin pie spice in their luggage last time they were in the states, otherwise you make your own. Buttered popcorn here is not worthy! Bring some or be prepared to create your own. Anything online is very expensive.
Ooohhhh grape jelly.......*drool*......oh! And bring QUESO!

Ohhh nice.  Is it like Jiffy Pop or the popcorn that you cook in oil and shake the pan till it’s done ? Nothing better than fresh popcorn with butter ... squeezed lemon juice is really good on it too

haha  :D...Believe me when I say I thought the same thing...I was married to a Hispanic for 15 years and I think, no offense to anyone, that it's a Mexican thing to put lemon on popcorn...but after trying it, it's not bad at all.. ;)
Hmmm, coconut vanilla sounds pretty good  :)

Lemon on popcorn sounds vile to me!

The coconut vanilla *sounds* kind of good, but I tried it and in reality I felt the flavour was far too subtle... couldn't really taste much of anything.  Disappointing.  :-\\\\

The choco-mallow popcorn, though... YUM!

I'm moving to the UK in the next few months, but was just there recently and went on the hunt for some of my favorite food items to keep at my new home. Of course, I ran into some trouble...

The Brits don't believe in buttered popcorn? I found ONE box in a Tesco, but calling it buttered popcorn was a stretch. It was pretty plain. I crave movie theater butter popcorn. Is that possible?

And pumpkin spice this fall will be a must. I already figured I would be making most of my treats at home. But I'm finding pumpkin puree and spice cake are hard to come by. I found some on Amazon UK, but are there any store options?

My hubby bought me a magical silicone popcorn popper, it does a single serving of popcorn for me and then I put REAL butter and salt on it like I love and did back in Colorado. I get America's Best brand popcorn kernels at Tesco and have my popcorn whenever I want it. Best Christmas gift ever. I've had it a year and I use it several times a month.

My Sainsbury's has pumpkin puree in its American section all year. I'm in a small town in the East Midlands.

Can't help with the spice cake.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Such a great popcorn popper and just the right amount of popcorn too. It even comes with a bunch of "recipes" for different flavours.

It's so much cheaper than buying bags of salted Metcalf's or Poshcorn popcorn. Those are £1.50 for the same amount of popcorn as what I get from my popcorn popper.

I bought a hot air corn popper and use it at least twice a week... it's got a wee cup on top for melting butter in the residual heat, and works great!
I buy the corn kernels on Amazon.
