Vfs website is ruining everything! HELP!!!!!!!! NEED TO PAY PRIORITY!!

The downside is however is that the VFS is playing up   

My wife registered (Activating via the email from the Vfs) and account and then when she entered her details, she went onto the next stage and then the VFS page came up as "Oops something went wrong"

She then clicked on the part that said "My Applications" it then took her to a screen that said

 "You must activate your account in order to proceed. An email was sent to your registered address, but has now expired. You need to register again. To restart the process."

And then then when she did that it comes up "User is already logged in" 

We are mega anxious because we havent even paid for the Priority yet!

The first thing to do whenever a website acts up is to clear the cache & cookies, close the browser and start fresh with ad blockers disabled. If that doesn't work, reboot the computer. And if that still doesn't, trying a different browser can sometimes work. Let us know if you keep having problems and try to stay calm! It's a stressful process and the VFS site can be buggy.

Quick question, can I do the Vfs part from the UK and then forward/ email the priority reciept to my wife in the US? Or is this not allowed?

Hey guys ive tried logging in via my computer (based in the UK) and we are still getting the same thing!

Nooo! 

Have you tried going directly to the VFS site to sign in vs possibly a link from somewhere else?

That's the last thing I can think of, otherwise you may need to contact VFS Support.

We are going to wait and try again tomorrow. My wife is having to use a computer at a friends house and it has all became too much for her. We are going to rest up for tonight. I have sent away an email to the UKI explaining our problem. We are so close and to think we almost had everything paid tonight

You might’ve already tried this but have you tried from your PC? If you’re wife was doing it at a friends and it wasn’t working, could you maybe try it from your PC if she gives details?

Good news! Priority bought and paid for!

We took the advice of Forum user AMM1987 and simply reset the password! Not a clue why such a daft glitch would be allowed, it put us into a spin!

Thanks everyone! Now the next step is bio-metrics and  purchasing the shipping labels directly from UPS!

Apologies about the delay! I went off to celebrate with a few Guinnesses and an early night.

What we did was Upload a PDF That read as follows

(Spouses Name DOB)
GWFXXXXXXXXXXXXX

APPLICATION BEING SENT BY MAIL TO : ETC

We uploaded a copy for each section and are applying by mail God willing,

No need to apologise, hope you had a good night 

Was the upload option only available after you paid for the priority fee? We have yet to purchase our priority but plan to tomorrow but just wanted to be prepared, as we are planning on uploading our documents
