I haven't been able to post earlier, but have been lurking and following your thread for updates.

Glad to hear he's on the mend!  (And cake will provide some lovely calories to give him some energy to continue fighting!)

And surely availability for those without heart condition is likely slim to none as per nhs guidance...?

Not everything is free on the NHS and never has been.

I'm not sure I mentioned anything about free vs paid...? I'm talking about you saying pharmacies have it listed to "ask about availability" and I suggested they may follow the guidance of the NHS so, yes, they might technically choose to provide to 6 months or older....but with heart condition as outlined by the NHS.
My, how time flies....

* ILR applied for January 2019 (using priority processing). Approved February 2019.
* Citizenship applied for May  2019
* Citizenship approved on July 4th 2019
* Ceremony conducted on August 28th 2019

The "availabilty" from Superdrug, for the 6 months to 2 years, was just to check they still have some  in stock at your local store. They won't give a flu jab to an age group if the government does not allow it.

It's the nasel spray that they can't give to children between the age of 6 months and age 2, because that isn't licensed for that age group as it is linked to wheezing in children of that age.  That is why those 6 months to age 2, have the flu jab.

It can be a free flu jab (paid for by the NHS) for the age 6 months to age 2.
Children between the ages of 6 months and 2 years who are at high risk from flu are offered the annual flu jab, usually at their GP surgery.

Thank you for all the messages of support over the last few days.  We had a couple of very scary days.  Fortunately the 3 days of IV antibiotics are working and we can see glimpses of our little boy again.  He’s even been caught giving his sister a few smiles (still tries to look really pitiful to me and Daddy).

We told our daughter that we won’t be able to go to Disney World and she won’t be having her Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Boutique makeover.  She said “Awww”.  We then asked her what she would like instead.  She answered with ice cream.  So incredibly thankful for our kind little girl who really just likes the simple things in life.  She can have ALLLLL the ice cream.

Aw that's the sweetest request! Is there a dairy queen nearby?

Really glad the lil one is doing much better. I hope you can get him to an immunologist to make sure all is ok when you're back here.

Excellent news!  You should now share the company you were with, so we know that it's a good one.
