It would be one of those rarities in my life. A job that would let me sleep late. A job in an environment I love. A job doing what I could do blindfolded already. A, while not fun, enjoyable and rewarding job. That has pay actually appropriate to the duties involved.  So, of course, I have applied. It closes in about 10 days.

I am willing to bet that I won't even get an interview.  ::)
But I did give it my very best shot.  ;)

And I could walk to work, too. ooooooo.
That'll insure I won't get it.  ::) ::) ;)

Well, I have an interview in two weeks for a different job. Half time, and would pay me less than my US Social Security (which I would then lose). BUT, it would fit as "meaningful employment" and is "open ended", so potentially I could work there a full year and that's what I need. Working 20 hours a week is very attractive, rather than 37 hours. The "enjoy" job would be 37 hours, but would actually only pay me slightly more than my SS pays. So my overall budget would stay pretty steady, and I'd have to work full-time for it.   I'd be happy with the part-time one, depending on the environment in the office.

We'll see.
