From Colorado and I know what crab Rangoon is and I miss it like mad. Mmm. Or just wanton wrappers with cream cheese and sweet and sour...
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

I don’t even like them much but people on podcast are from California but one is originally from Asia and their dad owns and runs a restaurant and another person is originally from New England. With the third person being from somewhere in the south originally. They keeps saying crab Rangoon and scallion pancakes seem to be a New England / east coast thing and I was like ....whaaat? Though it was standard American Chinese food

I can say that I really only ate Chinese food in Colorado and I've never really been to the East Coast, so crab rangoon was used out west or else I'd be clueless. 😆

Mmmm.  Crab Rangoon and Scallion Pancakes.

But then again, I'm from New England.  Is it really an East Coast / New England thing?!

I know what they both are and I'm from Seattle, but I did go to school in Boston. Just to check I went to my local Chinese place's menu..looks like "crab cheese puff" is on the menu but not the pancake.

Can only speak for myself,  obvs, but I'm originally from California and I've never had it, and don't recall ever seeing it on a Chinese menu.

No idea what you guys are on about.  I've probably run into crab cheese puffs but no Rangoon.  Come to think of it, my local all you can eat buffet has every possible fried thing, many of which are crabby, but nothing Rangoon.

I think it’s imitation crab meat. I wouldn’t touch it
