If you have a shed, you can say that you have outbuildings!   ;D

Very true!

Husband just messaged to say worktops are already showing signs of scratching even though they've only JUST been installed FFS!!

Don't buy Wickes' kitchens, people. They aren't even that "cheap" in comparison but the quality doesn't appear to be great. About to pack up and head home to investigate.

Here's a little album I made https://imgur.com/a/333BABc

The "before" photos were taken from when we listed our house as I forgot to take "before" photos lol so apologies...they definitely look like estate agent photos IMO haha. I know I took more "before/during the beginning" photos but think they are on my proper camera and non-work laptop but here's what I've got so far. Now we just need to build and hang top cupboards, husband needs to properly wire the hob up, and we need to get the remainder of the shelves/doors up. Then it needs a deep clean.

My piece of advise, however, is DO NOT get a Wickes kitchen. We thought it'd be cheap(er) and cheerful and so far it was just cheaper in quality...Luckily we accepted an offer on the house or else we'd be more worried. Next kitchen renovation we do, we're going to do properly (we went on what we thought was the cheap with this one because we knew we weren't planning on being here long term but we've since learned Wickes is a bit sh*t).

Looks fantastic!

Thanks! Bit miffed about the scratches on the countertop that I can now not unsee, but Rik honestly did such a good job and the guy who fit the counter tops was brill! Will be nice when we get up-stands on as well and we can use the garden room as a nice dining and entertaining space as it starts getting nicer outside!

haha thank you (you already know I think yours is SUPER adorable!). She's a she (most days anyways LOL) and her name is Faelynn (which means "little wolf" in Gaelic but we changed how to spell it...probably should've looked for "little fox" instead).

haha honestly, I'm very lucky that Rik is very handy.!

Faelynn always tries to "help" but all she does is get in the way haha she loves helping with flat pack stuff. You should've seen her trying to help us when we got our Ikea bed hahah
