Radio
« on: March 29, 2019, 11:25:19 AM »
(American) Hubby has been chatting to a bloke who is starting up a local radio station.  Today he actually went to meet him.  Next week Hubby is presenting a radio show!!!!!!

Hubby has a fabulous, deep, rich voice and the American accent has clinched the deal.

The programme will be easy listening type stuff.

Hubby did do a safety recording for his department a few years ago but that is about the extent of his experience with this sort of thing.

He has settled so well into the UK.

He is doing things he always wanted to do.  He has joined an all male choir, is volunteering with RAF Cadets.  Things he always fancied doing but never got round to.

Everyone has welcomed him.

That’s great :).

Doing radio is pretty fun :).

I’m currently working overseas and I do the weather on live radio here twice a week... at the end of a 13-hour night shift!
