Dating sites

 ???

I've done a little experiment. I'm on a dating site as I've been single for a long time, and I've found that in my profile, when I mention my nationality, I get very few messages. Whereas, if I don't mention it, I get loads. And the messages I do get when I say where I'm from always focus on where I'm from rather than who I am as a person. Oh how tiring, right?

Been in england nearly 20 years now and it still just comes down to my nationality. Probably also part of the reason I've been single for some time. x

I feel like dating sites bring out the worst in the dating world. All of my disabled friends have issues with them too because the first question is always "what do you do for a living?"

Friends, shared interests (like meetups), and opportunities where you'll meet the people before having those conversations take out some of the bias!
