Wrong passport number on biometric appointment confirmation/ IHS receipt

Hi all,

We've sent off our priority spouse visa application and are all ready to go give (except for the wait for biometric appointments to be restarted!).

However, when my wife went to get her biometrics done, she found that her previous passport number was listed on her biometric confirmation and on her IHS surcharge sheet, and not her new passport that she just got following her name change.

Has anyone had any experience of this or similar? Is there anything we can do to correct it down the line with our application?
We're worried it might mean we have to cancel our application and resubmit- would we be able to reclaim the cost of the priority processing from VFS Global in this case?

Have you just submitted your application online or have you physically mailed it off? Has she provided her biometric information or not?

We've just applied online, we haven't gone to a biometrics appointment or sent anything off yet.

You are going to need to have them correct it at the biometrics appointment.

You need to correct it on the paper form too, if you have the passport numbers incorrectly listed. You can make changes, in pen, on the print out of the online application form. I'd correct the IHS payment sheet also.

Ok- that's a relief, we can manage that!
