Because they know the books have a lot of adult readers, so they have a "kids cover" and an "adults cover" so that neither age group is put off buying them.

There is only one version in the US.

Only in America can you buy a book before it is released!

There were a group of 14 Canadians who got the book last week and were ordered by a judge not to read the book and return it to the publisher.  There were going to get signed copies and a goodie bag too.

Where's that raspberry blowing smiley...  >:(

Thbbbbbttttt!!!  ;)

To be fair, due to the time difference, I think you should wait an additional 7 hours to begin reading so I can read it at the same time!!!  ;D
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

My friend's teenage son works at our local WH Smith. They asked him to work late night tonight to sell to the midnight people ... but they wanted him to wear a wizard hat. He said no!! He would have made some serious overtime ££!! Teenage boys. So vain.  :P

Silly boy!  I own two wizard's hats, I would happily wear them and not get paid for it...but, that being said, getting paid for it would be all the more better - oh, yeah!

My friends always make me drive to the movies or such events as I've got an HP vanity license plate!

I'd wear a wizard's hat, scar tattoo (they gave them away a couple books ago), and my oh-so-cool Gryffindor scarf a friend made for me!

Some friends had a HP party several years ago. They made their own sorting hat for the night!
