FLR(M) application
« on: April 21, 2019, 12:18:52 PM »
Hi all, well it’s a bit early for me but I’m wondering does anyone know how long the new application form can be saved for? I would prefer to start on it as early as possible.

I want to say it’s 10 weeks. I can’t get back into mine now after submitting. I can only get to the further actions section.

I’m sure it states you have to submit within 10 weeks or they delete it.

I would tick No for this one - it’s not your first time applying for a settlement visa.

Yeah Rick! It's that time again. These first 2 1/2 years have flown by.

I'm up for renewal in November (moved in April 2017 on a fiance visa) and I already can't wait to get it over with.

Hi Rick! I applied around the same time as you for my spouse visa, I’m getting ready for the next visa too. Has there been confirmation how long the unfinished app can exist ? Is it 10 weeks for sure? I didn’t see anywhere on the app that states this?

Hey there! It states that you must revisit the application at least every 10 weeks, as long as you do I don’t think it gets deleted.

Ok, next questions....

If I state that I have been earning different amounts (raises) but above the requirement, it then asks for 12 months of payslips. If I say a continual amount but above the requirement, it only asks for the six months of payslips.
What should I select??

My next question is, the application asks for a company email address.....since I am employed by the Highland Council, there are many! None of which seem to be a general address. Should I just use my manager’s email address??

Thanks again for the help!

Rick

I believe it's a very sloppy way of asking if you are salaried, versus paid hourly.  When the form says "different amounts", I think it means your paychecks vary from one week/fortnight/month to the next based on the number of hours you worked.  I'd say "no", because that's the answer that allows you to do Category A, six months of payslips and bank statements.

I imagine the manager's email would work.  I'm not sure what I put, if it was even asked.

I had the exact same issue. I earned over the £18,600 pre-raise and then got a raise. I put the same amount above the threshold and submitted 6 months worth of payslips and my ILR was accepted. I interpreted it as hourly wage, as jfk said

Hi All-

So I want to get this right. I believe I am supposed to apply for FLR(M) 28 days before I have been in the country 30 months. But my BRP states that it expires a couple of months AFTER this 30 months.

So do I apply 28 days before the 30 months OR 28 days before the BRP expires a couple of months after that?

Thanks,
NWKH

The earliest you can apply is 28 days prior to the 30 month anniversary of your entry.

The latest you can apply is your expiry date.

So you should have a nearly 4 month window to apply.   :)

Alrighty! New questions....

So in a few weeks I hit the old submit button, I’m assuming that then I get to cough up a bunch of money for the application and IHS fee....schedule my biometrics......and then, am I directed to upload my documents or mail them or???

Also, should the employer letter be directed to the ECO or maybe just To Whom it May Concern?

Thanks again for the help! Noooooo I’m not starting to stress

That sounds roughly like the process as it is now. You will be given the options for scanning vs attending an appointment to have them scan for you. I'm not sure that you can still mail your docs any more though.

I used Dear Sir or Madam in our application letters but a lot of people use To Whom it May Concern. Either one is fine.
