Alrighty! New questions....

So in a few weeks I hit the old submit button, I’m assuming that then I get to cough up a bunch of money for the application and IHS fee....schedule my biometrics......and then, am I directed to upload my documents or mail them or???

Also, should the employer letter be directed to the ECO or maybe just To Whom it May Concern?

Thanks again for the help! Noooooo I’m not starting to stress

Once the application is complete you will be directed to the UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services section of Sopra Steria's website where you create a log in, book your biometrics and any other additional services (such as scanning) and then you can upload all your documents. Everything is done through Sopra Steria at this stage.

We wrote 'To UK Visas & Immigration' and on the landlord letter 'To Whom It May Concern'.

Thank you everyone for your help so far! But....next question!
My payslips are electronic not mailed. I contacted payroll and they printed and stamped payslips for me, as well as writing a signed letter of confirmation. My question comes from the fact that my payslips show my middle initial and the letter heading is just my first and last names....although my full name is used in the body of the short letter. The letter is done on Council letterhead and includes my payroll number as well as National Insurance number. Will UKVI accept the letter with that difference?
I’m planning on applying Thursday, and of course I’m nervous.

FLR(M) application

So, when I upload my docs, do I need to scan all pages of passports or just photo page? Also...do I need to upload the application or is it just supporting documents?

Anyone? And since I’m here, almost done scanning and I’m wondering what the upload size is? If I need to compress can I just use a zip folder or do I need to use a compression app?

Unless it tells you otherwise, I'd scan the whole passport.

No idea on the technical aspect I'm afraid but I've seen @Michali answer that sort of question before.

We uploaded every page of the passports. Each file must not exceed 6mb which was easy for most supporting documents apart from the passports. I used a compression app for those but i can’t remember the name. If I recall, it was free for a day or two but then I paid a small amount to continue using it. It was very good.  I will see if I can find the name of it. We did not upload the actual application form as that had already been submitted.

Hi there everyone! So I just finished all the scanning and uploading for my FLR(M) application. I thought that I would share...

Sopra Steria website times out every 15-20 minutes even if you are actively uploading ( cue log in.....again). Their upload categories are ridiculous!

Mandatory documents:
Proof of ID/travel history
Proof of application ( spouse declaration and applicant passport)

OPTIONAL documents:
Other
Residence
Finances
Life events
Medical Information
Sponsors/Employment
Educational.

Uploaded 158 files, you can’t upload folders or multiple files. In addition, they want you to label the uploads. If I did anything more, I’d be making the decision too! Biometrics on Thursday and I get to travel to Edinburgh! Did I mention I was charged for biometrics from UKVI and then Sopra Steria charged £60 for the appointment?

Rant over. Ok anyone in the area that would like to meet up? My wife and I are there until mid day on Sunday.

Well, here I sit. Waiting. All the stress for the application, and then it’s the intolerable wait while they decide. We couldn’t afford super Priority, not that it seems to be working out well for the folks that did.
