Hi everyone! Just wanted to say have “hearted” this thread as have been thinking about (and sort of low-key avoiding thinking about!) my FLRM which I can do at the end of this month! I see some familiar names and faces from 2.5 years ago—hope you’re all doing well.

Rick, I am in Glasgow and think there is a biometrics office here...but just in case I need to go to Edinburgh which is an easy trip...how easy was it to get an appt? Relatively quick? Have seen people having to pay extra to get a decent appt

Thank you! And congratulations on your visa!  ;D

Well hello! Yes, Glasgow has a Sopra Steria office. Appointments in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Glasgow were available as soon as the very next day. We just used Edinburgh as we had a cheap option to stay overnight. Edinburgh did not have any free appointments, only £60 and £120 were even listed.
