I am sad that she has gone, but glad she is not suffering anymore.  I hope the rest of the girls stay healthy and don't fret too much.

I'm so sorry to hear of your poor little one.  I was hoping she would be able to pull through.

I'm glad she's not in pain anymore, but still sad to hear.  :(  You did everything you could; I know she knew it too!

No, no, no.
My big chook now is unwell and the small chook laid a dodgy egg this morning.  I have been giving them antibiotics in yoghurt. But I don't know if that will kill whatever they have. If it's even bacterial.  No. No. No.   :\\\'( :\\\'( :\\\'(

Aww, this big chook gave a huge fight, but she gave up the ghost overnight.   :\\\'(

The small chicken is doing okay! She had the antibiotics last week and I think she is okay.  I am going to wait a few weeks to see if she gets ill, but if she's all good, I will get her a few new pals.   :)

Oh PB!  What a terrible plague!

Is she the only lady now?  Besides you, of course!

Thanks!!
Yes, she's the only one left! Chickens like being in flocks, so I hope to get her some pals soon (as long as she's healthy -I don't want to bring new ones home into the plague!)
