Moving Company - any recommendations?

Hello All!

I'm planning to move from NY to London. Any recommendations on moving companies will be greatly appreciated! We live in an apartment building, so services like UPakWeShip don't seem to be feasible, so we are looking for a full service moving company.

We are getting quotes from Allied (considers weight) and Schumacher (considers volume only I believe) based on recommendations from others....my initial contacts with both companies have been positive and everyone has been very helpful and nice. We are still waiting on our quote from Allied which should come Monday, so not sure who we will choose. Since we are pushed for time we will probably just go with one of these...

Volume is definitely the way to go if you have a lot of smaller, heavy items. (Like books.) Good luck!
