Email from UKVI Scanning Hub

I got this email today.

I originally sent my first parcel with all the supporting documents and  just my Canadian passport and my husband’s current US passport. I realized I probably should have sent ALL of our passports so I sent another parcel with my current US passport and our expired US passports, just to be safe. Then, following the advice of the lovely people on this forum, I sent a THIRD parcel containing only the entire printed applications, as the first parcel I sent only included the first pages. All of the parcels contained detailed cover letters with reference numbers.


Could this email be referring to the third parcel that arrived today? It obviously doesn’t have any passports in it because I already sent them a couple weeks ago. I also got confirmation from someone there when the second one arrived and they told me they had matched everything together. This is the first I’m hearing about any missing passport. Hopefully whoever sent that message just didn’t know I had already sent them???

Honestly, I haven't heard of anyone sending more than one package before, as everything should be sent at one time.  And then only send additional information if requested.

I would see if you can respond to one of your prior emails explaining and hopefully someone can sort it for you....

Regarding Visa Application: GWFxxxxxxx     

For: xxxxxxx

A decision has been made on your UK Visa application.

If you applied via a US Dept. of Homeland Security Application Support Centre or a VFS Premium Application Centre and chose to have your passport mailed back to you directly, that will take place shortly.

If you submitted your application via a VFS Premium Application Centre and chose to collect your passport in person at the end of the process, they will be in contact with you to provide further guidance.

If anyone contacts you advising that your application is still under consideration or that they can influence the outcome of your application in any way, they cannot - please report any such approach to VisaSheffield@homeoffice.gov.uk.

You should not expect to receive any further emails from this office.
