How about the Chinese "Social Credit" system?  Straight out of"Black Mirror "

That is horrifying to me. I remember watching that black mirror episode and my husband and I were like "this is DEFINITELY going to happen some day for sure..."

* Married in the US and applied for first spousal visa August 2013

well credit ratings agencies are gods unto themselves, aren't they?
