Rain. It's raining again.

So, while the Daughter complains, I just have a bit more in the way of memories.

Would I rather live somewhere green and lovely, where it rains a lot? Or go back "home" to this:

Hmmm, tough decision there. (NOT!)

Makes it a heck of a lot easier to deal with the gray and dismal, don't it?  ;D

Really all I want is a book and a cup of tea.
I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

Awwwww.  :(

It's bright sunshine here right now, as it tends to be in the morning. By noon-ish it will be overcast and gray. By mid-afternoon it will be raining again.

I think I saw on the weather on tv the other day it's supposed to clear up for a few days, phat...?

Definitely miss New England summer's because at least the rain would lead to brilliant thunder and lightening storms (very rare here) but I'm happy to trade all that for English summer when it means I don't have to deal with New England winter LOL

Thankfully, though, it really honestly doesn't rain that much down here in the south in the summer. It does rain but I wouldn't say it's exceptionally more than back in New England. and it does get pretty hot. What I hate is how I could be in shorts last weekend and FREEZING today (cold rain).

I'm just glad we avoided rain during the Elton John concert last night.  We hit the rain not long after getting in the car to go home.  :)  Shame it was chilly but I'll take cold and no rain over warm and rain any day!!

Oh yes!  He sang for 3 hours but it seemed like 10 minutes.  Went by in the blink of an eye!

My only complaint was that he didn't sing Circle of Life.  But I really can't complain!

He probably was afraid people would get too excited and lose their sh*t and that the singalong would disturb people for the next 2 counties over because it's that good of a tune. Just my best guess.

I think these photos are awesome.  These are the homes that overlook the cricket ground.  EVERYONE had a party!

And this had to be the biggest health and safety risk EVER!
