Car Club

Oh, coolies!  Enterprise rental cars has a "car club" that you can join and pay either by the day or by the hour. It includes gas. There's a car (automatic transmission!) based a half-mile from where we live, so if we join (£20 a year) we can get a rental for about £5 an hour or £25 a day, inclusive of gas. Plus mileage, of course.  We rarely need a car, but now and then we really could use one. 

Definitely interesting (sounds almost like Zip Car or something?)

Do you pay for the membership to the "car club" or is it literally just a one-off fee when you use the car and only when you use the car? (interesting that it's inclusive of gas as well...). is this a global enterprise thing or a UK only?

Working for the council, we use the Enterprise cars quite a bit......new cars for £25 a day including fuel! It is a great option.

I think the membership is like £20 a year, then you pay when you use the car....but so cheap it’s worth it
