A certified copy of the marriage certificate will suffice, correct?

[ ???

Oh dear. Just picked up my original statements and they can only do from Jan 2 to June 26 (slightly less than 6months)
(Includes 6 payslip correspondingpay dates shown on statement but NOT the whole of June)

Is there anything I can do to this mitigate it? Can i print one off that isn’t stamped?
Can i write something in a word document?

The alternative is waiting for My branch to deliver in a week...
Thanks

James

What dates are explicitly printed on your payslips?

Because if your payslips are only currently covering the dates between Jan 2nd and June 26th, that’s only 5 months and 24 days of payslips, which will will not meet the requirements and the visa will be refused anyway.

You need to have both payslips and bank statements covering every single day from either December 26th to June 26th or from Jan 2nd to July 2nd.

You will want to send both payslips AND bank statements from either:
- December
- Jan
- Feb
- March
- April
- May
- June

Or
- Jan
- Feb
- March
- April
- May
- June
- July

Really, you want 7 months of each to make sure every single day of the full 6 months is covered.

Payslips

01.12.2018 to 30.06.19 so believe I am fine (stamped on letterhead etc)

Statements

02.01.19 to 26.06.19
Includes all corresponding pays. But as you say short of dates

Have a note from bank on letterhead paper signed from bank manager saying ‘please be advised the statement is further we can access and have certified’

Is there any solution, or just wait till I can get the statement for July too?
What if I put a note, with the bank manager note saying I could not certify the Dec statement (see letter) but here is a printout?

Okay, with what you have right now, your visa will be refused.

Your bank statements MUST cover every single date shown on your payslips.

So, if your payslips cover December 1st to June 30th, your bank statements MUST ALSO cover every single date from December 1st to June 30th.

Right now you have 7 full months of payslips but only 5 months and 24 days of bank statements... so you are 1 month and 7 days short on your bank statements.

Not good enough, I’m afraid.

If you don’t provide the extra 1 month and 7 days of bank statements, the visa will be refused.

A note is not acceptable - they need to actual original or certified statement.

Did you not receive one in the post in December? (a tip: if you haven’t already, turn OFF paperless for everything now as you will need to save all your mail for the next 5 years).

You are also missing the last 5 days of June on your bank statements so you will have to wait until the beginning of July anyway in order to get the bank statement covering up to June 30th.

Your options:
- print your bank statements covering from December 1st to Jan 2nd and take them into the bank branch to be stamped AND get the bank branch to print another statement covering up to 30th June (or wait for the June statement to be issued)
Or
- if you can, order December’s statement to be mailed to you AND get the bank branch to print another statement covering up to 30th June  (or wait for the June statement to be issued)
Or
- wait until the beginning of August to apply and submit the new July 1st-31st payslips and bank statement, so that you are covering Jan 1st to July 31st (but then if the bank statement starts on Jan 2nd you might still need to cover Jan 1st too).

Thanks thanks thanks.

I have ordered 7 months of statements.
Are original, paper statements on letterhead sufficient or do they need to be signed and stamped?

Alternatively, if I got the same thing I got today (certified statements) from July 2, surely Jan 2 - July 2 covers the whole 6 months?

Thanks

So essentially

If I have (sent originals to my apartment on official paper, not printouts) - are mailed physically statements valid?

Dec Statement ALL
Jan Statement ALL
Feb Statement ALL
March ALL
April ALL
May ALL
June up to 26th

With payslips for all those months, I would be covered, surely? Or would the fact that my June payslip is the whole month, and the statement up to the 26th, be a problem?

If mailed payslips are ok, I think I will be ok..
Ugh this is stressful :(

Thanks

If they are sent in the mail, they do not need to be stamped or signed.

They ONLY need to be stamped if you have printed them at home from online banking.

They have to cover every single date shown on your payslips. If your January payslip starts on January 1st, then your bank statement must also cover January 1st.

Looking at it the other way, if your bank statements start on Jan 2nd and go to July 2nd, then your payslips must also cover the date of July 2nd... which means you would need the July 31st payslip and August 2nd bank statement to show you were paid for the work you did on July 2nd.

Generally though, your 6 months is determined by the dates on your payslips, and so the bank statements have to cover AT LEAST all of those dates... which is why we say to send 7 months, not 6 months, so that every single date is covered.

So if your payslips start on Jan 1st, you can’t have your bank statements starting on Jan 2nd, because then Jan 1st is not covered.

If the June payslip covers your pay up to June 30th, then the bank statements must also cover up to June 30th.

It might seem picky but we have seen people refused because they were just 1 day short of 6 months on either the bank statements or payslips (or both).

They can only count the dates that are covered by BOTH the payslips and the bank statements, so if the bank statements start or end before the payslips, they will not consider the payslips starting or ending outside those dates.

I understand now. I think my solution is wait until July 1st.
Order statements (to be sent in post) for ALL of DEC, JAN, FEB, MARCH, APRIL, MAY, JUNE

Submit all payslips for entirity of the above (7 months) so all dates match.

I assume if there is extra bank statement dates not end of world? Ie 7 months and 1 day?

Also. Do you think I can mix and match.
Original statements for Dec, Jan, Feb, March, April, May and then for June a branch stamped printout? That way I don’t have to
Wait for June to be delivered...

No, extra bank statements are fine, what’s important is that every date on the payslips is covered. If the bank statements go a bit over that, it’s not an issue.

Yep, that’s fine.

You can either print out the June statement yourself and get them to stamp it, or ask them to print it for you in-branch.
