To apply for British citizenship / passport
Which English test is required for UK citizenship?

do I  have to do below mentioned both test:
1) Life in the UK test
2) CEFR level B1 in Speaking and Listening test (B1 SELT – GESE Grade 5 )

How much is the citizenship fee 2019?

If you are under 65 you need the Life in the UK test but you need it to obtain ILR in any case.

Are you a US citizen? If so, you do not need an English test.

09/01/2017 - FLR(M) Granted
22/07/2019 - ILR Granted

My wife is having ILR now she is going to apply for British citizenship, she has got below mentioned language passed certificates
1) Life in the UK test passed on Oct 2019
2) Entry level certificate in ESOL skills for life (Speaking and Listening) entry 3 passed on Jun 2014 issued by City & Guilds.

Can someone tell me is this Entry level certificate in ESOL skills for life (Speaking and Listening) entry 3 passed on Jun 2014 issued by City & Guilds is valid certificate to apply for British Citizenship or not ?

Holy moley, I turn 65 next year.  I had no idea I wouldn’t have to take this test!  Another advantage to being older than dirt!

It looks like you can still apply on the paper form if you want to but can certainly apply online too.

The fee is £1330. I am not up to date with the recent processing times but in general they can range from a few weeks to many months.
