Is depositing over the counter instant?
« on: September 13, 2019, 08:13:57 PM »
I just realised I need to make a credit card payment that’s due tomorrow but paying online won’t clear until Monday!

Will paying over the counter tomorrow be instant?

If you log into the crcredit card carrier and make the payment through their website, it should be today... at least, my accounts work that way.

Try logging in and see when it will post.  Mine is considered paid on the scheduled date that I send it (even if it's the same/next business day).  It doesn't come out of my current/checking acvount for a couple of days, but it's shown as paid when I log into the credit card.

With mine, if I pay online, the available balance has adjusted by the time I next log in. Even if I log out and log in again right away it will reflect although the actual payment doesn't appear in the transaction history for a few days. That is transferring money from an account with the same bank as the credit card is with though.

I have my credit cards set up for the minimum payment to be paid automatically to avoid accidentally ending up in this situation.  :)
