How do you find out your FLR(M) result?
« on: September 16, 2019, 10:40:06 AM »
Hi everyone,

Thanks again for helping me with my docs. We just had our appointment, which included document checking, and someone had already gone in and checked a few days ago, and made a note on our application from their end that all of our documents were in order and no further action was required. Yay!

Now that we have had the appointment, I was wondering how they let you know the result? Do they email you? Do you find out the result in the email or just that a decision has been made?

We did pay for the super priority service, is this typically around as fast as they say it is?

In any case knowing that they checked our stuff and there's nothing else we can do, makes me feel significantly less sick to my stomach, so that's something in any case lol.

Hello MPI,

Not much help I'm afraid but if it makes you feel better we are in the same situation! Applied for FLR (M) super priority at 1200 on Thursday and still haven't heard anything back. Keeping my fingers crossed!! Like you we had a few people check it through before submitting and everything looked fine so I'm hoping the service is just slow!  (I read online that some people are having to wait a while but obviously different visas different reasons ect no one is the same) I'm going to look to recover my £800 if it turns out its slow and not just my visa having issues- Its a lot of money and they haven't provided the service they stated!!

I believe they should email you and then the BRP comes through the post in 7 working days but I cant be 100% sure.

Anyway Good Luck

Yours Aye

Hi,

Not sure this will help ease your mind either  >:(

My D-I-L  received her confirmation by e-mail around 90 minutes after her interview in Manchester finished.

Good luck.

Sorry to be pedantic but to save others from worrying, it's not actually an interview.  :)

Yes this is true! Just biometrics. And ours was in the local library done by library staff, so that was nice. (If nothing else it saves our library from being downsized.)

Do you mean you applied at 12 on Thursday, or that was when your appointment was?

My date of application wasn't today, it was biometrics today which I booked after paying for my app + IHS fee.

Sorry,

My wife's biometric appointment was last Thursday at 1200. Still no contact from the HO yet....

Hm, I wonder what's going on for you! Do we know if anyone else has done super priority in the last few days? Keep me updated!

Ours hasn't come through today, the 24 hours thing would go through tomorrow though too as the appointment ended at about 10am, and they don't guarantee 24 hours, they say usually.

I was sure you did, I just didn't want anyone to read interview and start panicking!

Visa approved! Interestingly the email came before 7.30am, maybe some people get an early start.

Thank you! Good luck with yours! (I wonder if the different centers have different times? I was at Canterbury if that helps.)

Thanks. We went to Southampton. I have no idea why it’s taking longer or if there’s anything wrong but I’m just resigned to the HO and how they deal with it all now. At least my wife can stay in the UK until it’s decided.....
