Ah, yes I think that was probably a good idea!  I think the appointments probably went quickly after that.

Perfect, thanks for confirming that it's free.  I assumed it was, but seeing that another of their lines cost 2.50 per minute, it made me slightly hesitant!

Hi,

Thank you all for the updates. So far I haven’t received an email but I’ll probably call tomorrow morning to check.

For the Biometrics appointment I bring all my scanned documents, my and my spouses passport, and my BRP. Anything else? Should my spouse attend since he’s the sponsor and most of the docs are his? Just thought it’d be helpful in case there are any document questions.

From what I understand most centers wont let anyone else in. I had my appointment in Leeds and my husband had to sit outside the building the whole time. We were told by a lot of people beforehand that they rarely let anyone in so we weren't actually expecting he could. He just wanted to keep me company as we had go commute a long way in.

So my Thursday appointment has been cancelled due to the ongoing system error. I had to reschedule to next Tuesday and paid an extra 15 pounds above my original appointment fee, sigh.

My email states if I had paid for my canceled appointment then I would get a refund.

I received a response to my enquiry stating that the amount of the replacement appointment (75 pounds) would be refunded.  That is definitely not what the person I spoke to on the phone said, but I'm glad to hear that they have come to their senses a bit!  Now fingers crossed that the system error will be resolved by Monday...

Had my original appointment on Tuesday, the 17th of September. Sat at the appointment for nearly 3 hours before giving up during this system outage. Re-booked and paid (again) for an appointment on Monday, the 23rd of September.

Yesterday, all went smooth and I was in and out in about 30 minutes time. (London Premium Center)

I just got off the phone with the free number I was given (0330 123 1199) to request a refund on the first appointment. Surprisingly, they refunded me in full for BOTH appointments! Very happy with that result.

Best of all, my visa approval email came in this morning bright and early at 10am.

Good luck to anyone else that was affected by this.
