Home for cat in San Antonio/Austin/Houston
« on: September 29, 2019, 03:51:11 PM »
Hi all

We recently got our approval and my husband is planning to fly over on Wednesday. He thought he'd found a new home for his cat, but he learned today that he'd been misled. So we're urgently trying to find a new home for his cat, as he's worried about her being euthanised if he takes her to a shelter.

He lives in San Antonio, Texas, but could realistically take her to Austin or Houston too.

Thanks
Greg and Tre

There’s a number of no kill shelters around the Houston and San Antonio areas. Maybe he could try to call them and see if they can take her.

Hope you can find her a home

Is it not an option to bring the kitty?

I live in a block of flats, and there's limited space, and she wouldn't be able to go outside freely, and also the terms of my lease are that pets aren't allowed (although I'm sure some people flout that!)
And there's the cost of moving her I guess, although that's a lesser factor. I let Tre weigh up these factors and figure out what he thought was best overall.
