I wouldnt necessarily be concerned by that as ive had receuiters speak to me up until the point the interview was booked and then pretty much radio silence until a few days after the interview to "follow up"

Ahh,see that I can understand completely. However,  the interview isn't booked yet. I've given her the day I could do, but I have no confirmation it's actually happening.

Ohhhh fair! I thought it was literally booked in. Yep, definitely not great woth communication (even if it's just due to a scheduling conflict)

Hmmm.... still fishy.
Have been trying to connect with recruiter now and nothing back from them......

And their website says the vacancy is now closed.

Odd.....
Not giving me any warm and fuzzies here....  Ahhh whatever........

Seems quite indicative of the UK recruitment style ,really

Chase, chase, chase and then blank me!!  Recruiters don't care, they make their money if the position is filled.

PB, same thing has been happening to me.  A company reached out, I did the formal application, then nothing.

Yesterday someone new called and asked me all sorts of things the previous person asked.  Then she said that it was her first week....  ALARM BELLS everywhere.  I take it the person I was talking to before got sacked.

They aren't offering a competitive salary for what they want.  I told them to stick me to the side and when they realise they are going to have to INVEST in the position, feel free to call me.   :-\\\\

Hmm, yeah, a bit crap ,huh KFDancer!?!  Total Alarm Bells.

I'm thinking that this company found someone who was willing to take their uncompetitive salary - so all and all, I think, 'good for them'.

I really feel for anyone who is trying to find a job!!

Went okay. Nice guys.  Very small site, much much much smaller than what I'm used to. But interesting.
Will find out middle of next week if I have the job.
