International dining etiquette

I received this link in a newsletter email. It's a fairly simple questionnaire, but I thought you'd all find it interesting:

How did you score? I got eight out of 11. So-so.

I got 7.  After the blurb on the 1st page I was disappointed there was no question on Sudan because I HAVE eaten in a posh restaurant there!

I got 8 out of 11... the one that really threw me was the Spain one!

8 out of 11 too.  The Spanish one made sense (too much tappas for me), but the Polish one got me.

Hmmm. 7 out of 11 but in my defense, the DH made me change my mind on at least one. Missed the Spanish one but got the Polish one!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

10 of 11.  Who knew you could capsize a boat just by flipping a fish?

Liz,

The Scottish one was about children doing homework after dinner (I missed that one because I didn't realize that "dinner" was sometimes used as a word for "lunch" in the UK as well as in the States--in the southern states, people sometimes refer to "lunch" as "dinner," and to "dinner" as "supper"). I also missed the ones about Spain and Poland.
