Forgot to File :(
« on: January 15, 2020, 08:36:41 PM »
So in the midst of getting married, moving abroad, etc etc etc I have realized that I forgot to file my taxes :( We have a low household income (less than 30k combined) so I know I probably won't have to pay anything, but I know I still need to file and  I've just absolutely let it slip my mind  ??? ::)

Any recommendations as to what I can do now that it's so late? I know that I have to re-certify my income-based repayment soon sooo....  ::)

most folks would use the official IRS Streamlined Foreign Offshore Procedures (SFOP) to catch up. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/u-s-taxpayers-residing-outside-the-united-states
