As you are using cash savings, remove everything you have here except the original bank statements. While you wouldn't be penalised per se, it will very much confuse the application and could lead to a refusal in error.

Savings is the easiest category, you only need those bank statements and the declaration.

Okay, your documents are all over the place.

You have several  things you do not need. And it’s never a good idea to send more than is required, because that will only confuse the application.

You do not need your UK birth certificate.

If you are relying on cash savings, then the ONLY documents you need for the finances are:
- 6 months of bank statements showing the balance has not fallen below £62,500 for even 1 day
- Declaration of source of savings (if some of the savings are from the sale of a house, I would include the house sale document as well)

You do NOT need to send any payslips or bank statements for proof of employment... let alone 10 YEARS worth!

For the accommodation, you only need your Land Registry document, latest mortgage statement and your most recent council tax bill

For relationship evidence it’s your marriage certificate and 6 documents in each name. If you already have those 6 documents in each name, you do NOT need to include 3 years of council tax statements.

You do not need to send any pictures or evidence of travel. What you are proving with this application is that you have lived together in the same house in the U.K. for the last 2.5 years.

So, what you want to send is (not sure if I have them in the correct upload sections):

Upload section: Proof of Identity / Travel History
Sponsor's UK Passport
Applicant's passport
Applicant's BRP
IELTS A2 Language Certificate (not sure which section this goes in though)

Upload Section: Proof of Application
Verification Checks Consent. Page 1 signed by Applicant. Pages 2+3 signed by Spouse.
Sponsor's Declaration
IHS payment details

Upload Section - Finances
Original Bank Statements June2019 to Jan2020.
Statement of source of savings

Upload Section - Residence in the UK
Land Registry document
Mortgage Statement
Most recent council tax statement

Relationship Evidence (is there a section for this?)
- Marriage Certificate
- 6 documents in each name showing cohabitation

Upload Section: Other - not sure what is supposed to go in this section
- Childrens' birth certificates/passports etc.

Upload Sections left empty
Proof of Business,
Life Events,
Sponsors/Employment,
Educational.
Medical Information

Approval email came 4 hours after Biometric appointment.

Dear Mrs XXXX XXXX,

I'm pleased to confirm that your application for leave to remain as a spouse has now been granted. You will receive your decision letter and biometric residence permit (BRP) in due course and these will confirm your immigration status.

Thank you for using our super priority service.

Kind Regards,

One thing to note is I didn't have my mortgage statement as the bank promised me they had sent it 3 times but it never arrived.
So I got an old letter from the mortgage bank confirming the account number then 6 months recent bank statements highlighting the payments made to that account each month, then bundled it into a Statutory Declaration by a solicitor (£5 for the declaration + £2 for exhibits so £9 total) ...
That's the kind of workaround the Immigration Barrister used for our first Spouse Visa application when docs were not perfect.
