Big Sky Hi

Hi:

I recently joined this site in hopes of learning more about moving to Northern Ireland. I'm engaged to a wonderful woman living in Bangor, NI and am just getting up-to-speed about immigration laws, etc.

Welcome to UK-Yankee and best of luck to you.  You will find lots of great info on here, and if you have any questions, there are lots of friendly, knowledgeable people who have been through much of the same.

I've been living in Northern Ireland for over 10 years now. Came on a 2 year work permit, simply for the job, and stayed. Bought a house after a year because I had decided to stay on. Beautiful scenery, great people, no traffic (at least compared to California), and a very laid back way of life. Enjoy!
