Scotch eggs

I am married to a Scot who loves Scotch eggs. Any tricks?

Hubby likes them. Yuck. We get them at Tesco.
Tricks? Trick him into eating something else! lol

Try the vegetarian ones from Holland and Barret. I love them!

 Absolutely have to agree with Britwife here, the vege version ( I think it's called "Sos mix" is far nicer than sausage meat and probably a bit healthier.

A really unhelpful suggestion ( but yummy) is cream cheese and coleslaw wrapped in sausagemeat ( hell if you're going there anyway!!) really good, sliced lengthways and left to get cold.

If it must be the real sausage meat, try the ones from Waitrose , I believe they are made with free range eggs and they have a better reputation with the kind of meat used for sausagemeat.
