Hello all! Well, I FINALLY have my UK citizenship as of 11 Feb 2020, BUT, I am traveling to Israel from 4 - 22 March 2020 so do not have time to obtain my UK passport, so I will be traveling on my USA passport. Will I have problems coming back into the UK - I dutifully destroyed and returned my permanent resident card...I'm thinking I should either just say I'm a US tourist who took a wee trip to Israel, or explain my situation and have copies of my naturalisation certificate and proof of UK address - what do you suggest wise ones?

Thank you!

I think you should be fine--Israel doesn't even stamp your passport, you just get a stamped piece of card you hand back before leaving. And you'll go through egates when you come back so just have the extra documents to hand.
